Safe production: that's what cleanroom is all about. It operates according to a demanding combination of processes, equipment and technical and environmental parameters to control all sources of contamination in order to protect a product and an operator from possible contamination.

How a cleanroom

The principles of cleanroom

The principle behind cleanroom is to prevent the entry and proliferation of external contaminants that could harm your business. Its operation is based on a personal airlock, an equipment airlock and a cleanroom. A cascade of pressure is present between each room, with higher pressure for the cleanroom. This method helps to keep suspended particle levels as low as possible and limit particulate pollution. The higher the pressure in the cleanroom , the greater the purity of the ambient air.

The air in a cleanroom is treated by an air handling unit (AHU). It is then routed through a network of ducts to cleanroom and distributed throughout the room by diffusers equipped with absolute filters. The air is then extracted from the lower section and returned to the AHU, where it is reprocessed and filtered once again. This is called air recycling. In some areas, recycling is prohibited, so the AHU operates with fresh air only.

Its principle is to prevent the entry and proliferation of external contaminants to protect a product and the operator. It comprises a personnel airlock, an equipment airlock and a cleanroom airlock, with a pressure cascade between each zone to keep particle levels low.
