What is a cleanroom?
Control, manage, and protect
A cleanroom is a controlled atmosphere zone (ZAC) designed to manage contamination sources and vectors, thereby protecting and optimizing your production quality. It is an environment that cannot tolerate the slightest failure, as each source acts as a contamination vector for another.
Controlled Environment Area
Sources and vectors of contamination
The primary source of contamination in a controlled atmosphere zone (ZAC) is particulate matter. This is predominantly attributed to personnel during operational and cleaning periods within the room. Additionally, microbiological contamination (bacteria, fungi, viruses, etc.) and chemical contamination arise, again linked to the human factor, but also to the environment (water, air, food, surfaces, waste, linens, etc.). The slightest failure can lead to the contamination of your facility.
Contamination vectors primarily include surfaces, air, utilized products, and personnel, who transmit microbes via skin, hair, and ENT pathways. The human factor is paramount. Therefore, personnel training is crucial to enable them to operate within a cleanroom, thereby preserving the integrity of a controlled environment and safeguarding productivity.
The operation of a cleanroom
Prevent the ingress of external contaminants through a powerful filtration system to safeguard your operations.
The entry and exit of personnel, fluids, and objects through airlocks ensure atmospheric control within the controlled environment zone to preserve its integrity.

What is a ZAC?
A cleanroom is a controlled environment designed to manage contamination sources and vectors to protect production quality. The primary sources of contamination are particulate, microbiological, and chemical, linked to human factors and the environment. Contamination vectors include surfaces, air, products used, and personnel. Controlling these factors is essential to maintain a controlled environment and safeguard productivity.
