High technical requirements
VÊPRES , as general contractor, VÊPRES the complete fit-out of the production site for DIAMFAB, an Isère-based start-up spun off from the Institut Néel (CNRS Grenoble) and specializing in the manufacture of synthetic semiconductor diamonds. Located in an existing building in Fontaine (Isère), the project involved the creation of a 150 m² cleanroom , classified ISO 7, entirely dedicated to the production of sensitive components.
The cleanroom particularly strict technical requirements. It incorporates specific extraction systems for acids and solvents, ATEX zones, and the distribution of special fluids essential for the production of semiconductor diamonds.
For DIAMFAB, the main challenge was to have a highly controlled environment capable of eliminating all sources of contamination and guaranteeing the reliability of the components manufactured there. The facilities were designed and built to exacting standards, ensuring both personal safety and environmental protection.
This new site enables DIAMFAB to produce high-quality synthetic diamonds under optimal control and safety conditions, reinforcing its innovative position in the semiconductor sector.

The strength of a general contractor
Beyond the cleanroom, DIAMFAB entrusted VÊPRES with VÊPRES comprehensive refurbishment program covering the entire building. The project includes 300 m² of tertiary offices, designed to support the growth of the start-up and promote synergy between research, industrialization, and support functions.
VÊPRES the entire project: roadworks, structural work, carpentry, joinery, electrical work, and the coordinated integration of networks and special fluids. The project also included outdoor facilities, including parking lots, fencing, and the integration of a high-voltage delivery station.
By ensuring the architectural and functional consistency of the site, VÊPRES the interfaces between the cleanroom, technical rooms, and workspaces. This project illustrates the company's ability to manage complex projects, combining high-tech environments and high-performance offices, while taking into account the constraints of an existing building.
