A challenge met in record time
HELIUP, a CEA start-up, contacted VÊPRES with a view to industrializing its lightweight photovoltaic panels. Their request concerned the creation of a controlled environment in terms of dust, temperature and humidity, in order to control the manufacturing process and guarantee optimum production quality. The objective for our teams was to design, quote and install the system in just 4 months. The challenge was met!
Designed for large industrial, commercial and logistics rooftops, HELIUP panels offer owners and users an innovative solution for optimizing their energy costs and encouraging self-consumption.
The request concerned the construction of a 684 m² enclosure with a ceiling height of 4.7 meters, inside a vast industrial hangar currently being renovated. The hangar presented a particular technical constraint: the original ceiling structure did not allow the addition of an extra anchoring point. Unable to intervene on the ceiling, we therefore designed and installed a large-scale metal structure, without intermediate posts, with a span of 19 meters.
The second challenge was to meet deadlines: with a completion time of just 4 months, our teams had to be rigorously organized. Every stage, from design to installation, was carefully orchestrated to ensure optimum coordination between all those involved. The project was completed on schedule, and HELIUP now has equipment perfectly suited to the manufacture of its panels, under optimum conditions.
