A challenge met in record time
The startup HELIUP, originating from CEA, contacted VÊPRES for the industrialization of its lightweight photovoltaic panels. Their request focused on creating a controlled environment regarding dust, temperature, and humidity, to master the manufacturing process and ensure optimal production quality. Our teams' objective was to design, quote, and install the entire system within 4 months. Challenge accepted and met!
Intended for large industrial, commercial, and logistics rooftops, the panels produced by HELIUP aim to offer owners and users an innovative solution to optimize their energy expenditures and promote self-consumption.
The requirement involved the construction of a 684 m² enclosure with a ceiling height of 4.7 meters within a large industrial hangar undergoing renovation. This hangar presented a specific technical constraint: the original ceiling structure did not allow for the addition of supplementary anchor points. Unable to modify the ceiling, we therefore designed and installed a large-span metallic structure, without intermediate columns, featuring a 19-meter wide span.
The second challenge involved strict adherence to deadlines: with a project completion time of only four months, our teams had to implement rigorous organization. Every stage, from design to installation, was meticulously orchestrated to ensure optimal coordination among all stakeholders. The project was successfully completed within the allotted timeframe, and HELIUP now benefits from equipment perfectly suited for manufacturing its panels under optimal conditions.
