The Pont-de-Claix (Isère) facility accommodates a production site for the BECTON DICKINSON Medical division.
For the production of pre-fillable glass syringes, VÊPRES designed a 600 m2 Quality Compliance Laboratories (QCL) facility, integrated within a comprehensively renovated existing building.
This laboratory project, executed within an « ultra-local » framework (the municipalities of Claix and Pont-de-Claix are contiguous), was completed in just over a year, between May 2022 and June 2023. It required significant availability from the VÊPRES teams on several fronts.

An office area was dismantled to free up the necessary space for the creation of new cleanrooms.
The pre-existing offices introduced an additional layer of complexity compared to establishing a cleanroom within an empty space.
The complexity was further amplified by the essential continuity of laboratory operations. A final challenge lay in the integration and collaborative work with numerous other trades.
Additionally, several services involved custom solutions. These include the design, construction, and installation of oversized, ventilated mini-airlocks, exclusively conceived for BECTON DICKINSON's operations, as well as the design of specific curved hoods.
