Construction of a laboratory in an existing building
The Pont-de-Claix (Isère) site is home to a production facility of the BECTON DICKINSON Medical division.
For the production of pre-fillable glass syringes, VÊPRES has designed a 600 m2 QCL (Quality Compliance Laboratories) laboratory within an existing building that has been completely refurbished.
This laboratory project, carried out in an "ultra-close" setting (the communes of Claix and Pont-de-Claix border each other), took just over a year to complete, between May 2022 and June 2023. It required a high level of availability from the VÊPRES teams in several respects.

An office area was removed to free up space for the creation of new cleanrooms.
The fact that these offices already existed added an extra layer of complexity to the creation of cleanroom in an empty space.
The complexity was further heightened by the need to maintain laboratory activity. A final difficulty lay in the synthesis and co-activity with numerous other trades.
In addition, a number of services were provided on a bespoke basis. These included the design, production and installation of oversized ventilated mini-sluices, designed exclusively for BECTON DICKINSON's business. We also design specific curved hoods.
