Following the training of a first employee last year, three workers from VÊPRES signed up in October to prepare for a new Certificate of Professional Qualification (CQP). The course is entitled "Cold room and clean room envelope assembler" and is offered by EffiClasse, a continuing education center based in the Ain region. At the end of the course, which runs until April, they will be qualified after presenting an oral and a model.

With very different profiles and backgrounds, each of the three employees was confirmed on a permanent contract before benefiting from this training. Yohan, who joined the company in 2021 with a CAP in locksmithing and metalworking, a "transferable" skill at VÊPRES. Ismaël, who had been working at VÊPRES on a temporary basis since the end of 2021. And Anthony, co-opted by a young carpenter in the company, who had left the army to start a fixed-term contract.

Acquire the basics in the best possible conditions

"Vêpres relies almost exclusively on in-house training and the transmission of skills in the field. This training enables us to acquire the basics that we don't always have the opportunity to practise under the best conditions on a worksite, due to lack of time..." explains Marlène Cottet, Human Resources Manager. Plan reading and layout, cutting and fitting partitions and ceilings, spatial location, site clean-up and recovery are just some of the theoretical aspects covered during the 27-week training course.

The specific needs of cleanrooms

A colleague in the company, faced with the same recruitment problems as VÊPRES, has created a course specifically for the construction industry at cleanrooms. Delivered by EffiClasse, this course meets the very specific needs of our business. Now approved by the French Ministry of Labor, it is registered with the RNCP (répertoire national des certifications professionnelles) and financed by the FNE-Formation. VÊPRES is delighted to now have an educational structure to train employees in these trades and the specific skills they require.
