As part of its occupational risk prevention program, the company has just invested in a handling crane to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders at the panel saw workstation in our workshop. As the activity requires users to carry large, repetitive loads, this equipment will help to protect them.

This choice was made on a participative basis. Our employees visited ATOUT COFFRAGE in Villard-Bonnot to test their equipment (thanks to them for their warm welcome!).

Following unanimous feedback on this trial (handling, time saving), the decision was taken quickly, and a similar piece of equipment from MANUT LM was ordered and installed by JPM Diffusion. Once the jib had been tested and made available, workshop personnel were given a demonstration/training session by JMD Diffusion technician Xavier.

The collaborative nature of the entire process (assessment, choice of equipment, decision-making) means that everyone is aware of the issues at stake, and fully involved in risk prevention at their workstations.
