As part of its occupational risk prevention initiative, the company has recently invested in a material handling jib crane to mitigate the risks of musculoskeletal disorders at the panel saw workstation in our workshop. Given that the activity requires users to handle significant and repetitive loads, this equipment will alleviate strain on them.

This selection was made through a participatory approach. Our employees visited the ATOUT COFFRAGE company in Villard-Bonnot to test their equipment (we extend our gratitude for their hospitality!).

Following unanimous feedback on this trial (maneuverability, time-saving), the decision was quickly made, and similar equipment from the MANUT LM brand was ordered and then installed by JPM Diffusion. Once the jib crane was tested and made available, workshop personnel received a demonstration/training session provided by Xavier, a JMD Diffusion technician.

The collaborative approach throughout the entire process (evaluation, material selection, decision-making) enables everyone to become aware of the stakes and to be fully involved in risk prevention at their workstation.
