Grenoble Ekiden: VÊPRES runs in teams!

The latest edition of the Ekiden took place on Sunday, October 8. In just a few years, this marathon relay race for six runners has become a not-to-be-missed sporting event in Grenoble. It was fully booked at the start, with 600 teams registered.
The conviviality of the event is due in no small part to the relay zone on the start line. And to its "all-public" dimension. Alongside athletics clubs, a large number of companies (representing 2/3 of participants!) take advantage of this time to run with colleagues and cultivate team spirit away from the workplace.
For its first participation, VÊPRES brought together two teams, both mixed. In addition to their respective very respectable rankings, all enjoyed the warm, family atmosphere of this collective challenge.
