Why did you use VÊPRES ?

Benoit MAIRE: Our company manufactures silicone parts by extrusion, stamping or injection for the industrial and medical sectors. These parts have to meet increasingly stringent manufacturing process specifications. We already had a cleanroom, but it was 10 years old, and was becoming too small and obsolete to meet the new standards expected by our industrial customers, particularly in the medical field.

So you've enlarged?

BM: Better still, we've built a new production unit! The building covers 2,000 m² and houses two cleanrooms ISO 7 and ISO 8 facilities spread over 600 m². This new equipment boasts performance levels that meet the 13485 standard. This is a requirement of the medical sector, in which we have strong positions. This will enable us to continue developing this market and open up to new industrial sectors.

Is this new production tool conducive to your development?

BM: Favorable and indispensable! With 70 employees and sales of 7 million euros, we're still a family business, and we need to invest to stay at the forefront of our markets in France, as well as abroad, where we generate 15% of our business: Europe, North Africa and South America.

How have the VÊPRES teams met your expectations?

BM: We had to build two new rooms very quickly, which would be larger, more comfortable for our employees and equipped with the best technologies to improve our processes. Not only did VÊPRES 's design office respond perfectly to our specifications, but their experience provided us with a real source of ideas throughout the project, helping us to make the best decisions at all times.

Have you established a relationship of trust?

BM: Trust and partnership. Our companies are similar, and we have the same mindset based on openness and responsibility. Our deadlines were imperative, with considerable stakes for our production. The VÊPRES teams delivered on time, with perfectly operational equipment. The technicians are highly competent and autonomous, and we're making good progress!

So you don't regret your choice of VÊPRES ?

BM: Not for a moment! During the selection process, they were the only ones to really answer our questions. In my opinion, VÊPRES is the best possible provider in its field, and I've already taken the liberty of recommending them. We'll continue to work together for the follow-up and maintenance of our cleanrooms.
