Presentation of a long-service award at VÊPRES : 40 years!
Corporate life HR NewsAn emotional day for Vincent DI LUCA, his family and the whole company
On Friday, October 1, the entire company gathered around a barbecue for a very emotional event. Francis VÊPRES, founder of the family business, presented Vincent DI LUCA with the médaille du travail for his 40-year career.
Recruited in 1981 at the age of 17 (by Francis), Vincent began his career as a carpenter at VÊPRES on a fixed-term contract. 1 year later, he signed his permanent contract. In 2011, he attained the highest worker qualification: "Maître-Ouvrier" in his carpentry position.
With his artistic and creative temperament, he enjoys designing products for customers, taking on any challenge with meticulousness and inventiveness. Vincent is also passionate about soccer. He was a player for many years, then a coach. Team spirit! But the most important thing in his life is his family. With his wife Clara, they are parents to 3 children and grandparents to 4 grandchildren. The youngest is just a few days old!
Surrounded by his family, in the presence of Christophe Revil, mayor of Claix, and the Dauphiné Libéré newspaper, which came to cover the event, he received his 40th anniversary medal! It was a truly moving moment when Francis VÊPRES, the company's founder 60 years ago, presented him with the medal.
Cédric MERCIER, who has presided over the destiny of VÊPRES for almost two years, and all our staff are truly proud of Vincent DI LUCA's achievements, which were celebrated with a giant barbecue.
