What types of infrastructure does Minatec's BHT offer across its 11,000 m²?
Guy Yagues : The building, owned by SEM Minatec Entreprises, comprises 20 Cleanroom modules spanning 2,650 m², along with laboratories and offices covering 6,700 m², with the remaining area dedicated to ancillary technical spaces. It is therefore a highly specialized building equipped with systems for controlling air treatment, fluid and gas distribution, recycling, and more.
How do you collaborate with VÊPRES?
GY : We engage their services when onboarding new companies to configure premises tailored to their specific activities. Companies establishing themselves in the building operate in fields aligned with Minatec's core themes: nanotechnologies, biotechnology, microelectronics, and more.
Do you then leverage their expertise?
GY : Precisely. VÊPRES has collaborated with the CEA for a considerable time; we encounter them almost daily on site. Not only do they possess extensive experience and robust infrastructure, but for several years now, they have also maintained their own integrated design office. This is a significant asset.
Specifically?
GY : We can collaborate from A to Z! And having a single point of contact saves us considerable time. From initial study to final execution, VÊPRES supports us through to "turnkey" delivery, providing general contractor services that include insurance, reliability guarantees, and adherence to deadlines.
Are deadlines critical?
GY : Always! With our clients, this is a contractual obligation. The production stakes are substantial. And with their extensive experience, the VÊPRES team understands this implicitly. They are capable of intervening under significant scheduling constraints, be it during Christmas, in August, or with short lead times. Yet, they never compromise on the quality and reliability of their installations!
Project for MINATEC Companies
3 months! A challenge met by its teams for the construction of a cleanroom, a laboratory, and offices.
The advantages of a single point of contact
VÊPRES and the CEA have maintained a long-standing collaboration. Their extensive experience and integrated design office represent significant advantages. Moreover, as a general contractor, having a single point of contact streamlines the process. This 'turnkey' service encompasses insurance, reliability, and adherence to deadlines.
