Redevelopment of a 1,650 m² workshop with a cleanroom of 750 m² and 10 m under ceiling.
Two phases of work to carry out the cleanroom and install all air handling equipment.
The project took place on the site of ROVIPHARM, a division of the SGH Healthcare group, which specialises in medical devices. The work consisted of a "revamping" of an existing production workshop with a surface area of 1,650 m² and a height of 10 m and including a cleanroom of 750 m² classified ISO 8.
2 phases were necessary to complete the project:
- Phase 1: partitioning of the periphery of the workshop and installation of a false ceiling to make the workshop watertight and facilitate cleaning.
- Phase 2: the work consisted of revamping a 750 m² production workshop with 10 m high ceilings. This room is now ISO 8 rated.
The teams of VÊPRES have made the partitioning and the false ceiling type cleanroom and installed white PVC ducts to create aesthetic wall air returns (these elements had been prefabricated in our workshops). A 75 m² metal mezzanine was built to accommodate the entire technical area with the installation of an air handling unit and its hydraulic panoplies. The work was completed with the commissioning of the "Free Cooling" installation with the aim of saving energy.
"Skills, coordination, deadlines: I was blown away."

Editing a cleanroom of 750 m² and 10 meters under ceiling to classify it ISO 8.
Work at height: a great challenge!
In addition to the usual technical challenge of achieving a cleanroom, the ROVIPHARM project has propelled the VÊPRES at a height of 10 m, on aerial platforms, to carry out the work without stopping the production lines below!
The teams of VÊPRES would like to thank ROVIPHARM for its trust, the quality of the welcome and the collaboration on site.
Taking to the skies
The teams of Vêpres worked at a height of 10 meters on aerial platforms to carry out the work without interrupting the production lines. Vêpres revamped a 1,650 m² production hall, including a cleanroom ISO 8 of 750 m². The work involved the construction of partitions and false ceilings, as well as the installation of white PVC ducts for aesthetic wall air returns. A 75 m² metal mezzanine has been added to accommodate the technical area.
