Creation of a CSE
Corporate lifeA CSE (Social and Economic Committee) has recently been set up at VÊPRES. This will facilitate social dialogue within the ever-growing company.
Recent elections have resulted in the appointment of elected representatives to the CSE. Three incumbents and two alternates represent the "blue-collar and white-collar workers" college, and two incumbents represent the "engineers, department heads, technicians, supervisors and equivalent" college. Within this framework, a delegation of 19 hours per month (maximum) is now granted to each incumbent. The very first meeting of the CSE took place on January 13, and gave everyone - management and employees alike - the opportunity to familiarize themselves with this new way of dialogue. With regard to premises, equipment, etc., the meeting also provided an opportunity to check that the tools made available by the company were in line with the needs of the various positions.
Dialogue and trust
VÊPRESThe company's ever-growing number of employees was keen to develop social dialogue and structure the framework for exchanges. While the company had long since introduced a "participative" approach, notably with a plenary meeting twice a year, the CSE meetings will enable exchanges to be intensified (every two months). What's more, issues that concern several employees can be addressed collectively rather than individually. " We wanted this CSE to see the light of day, and we're moving forward together in a spirit of trust," explains Marlène COTTET, Head of Human Resources.
