VÊPRES didn't meet the deadline: they were... a month early!
A very large project cleanroom for a medical device production unit in a pharmaceutical plant.

Pierre LAISSY, Major Projects Manager at EXCELVISION, a subsidiary of the FAREVA Group.
Pharmaceutical industry ophthalmology
How long have you known VÊPRES ?
Pierre LAISSY: Our first contact dates back to 2009. I hadn't chosen them for a consultation because they were "too expensive". We finally decided to work with them in 2012 on an ambitious project. Their rates hadn't really changed, but the stakes were very high, and they were the only ones to really reassure us.
And did you get your money's worth?
PL: Yes, this experience definitely helped us to understand the quality level of VÊPRES. They then became regular service providers, systematically consulted (and retained) on all our projects.
So you've just built a new factory?
PL: Indeed, to meet market demand, we decided to double our production capacity for our customers, who are major pharmaceutical groups. The challenge was considerable: to build a 3,500 m2 plant in a maximum of 12 months! Normally, it takes three years.
So it's a pharaonic project with impossible deadlines?
PL: Nothing is impossible if you have the will and make the right choices. We coordinated the work of 105 outside companies, and at certain times there were 45 companies and over 100 people on site at the same time.
With the VÊPRES teams, of course?
PL: Of course! It was a very big job for them, with 950 m2 of cleanrooms and 500 m2 of line output for packaging. They were responsible for all the infrastructure, from floor to ceiling, openings (airlocks, manual and automatic doors), air treatment, water distribution (chilled/hot), electricity (high/low current)... Right through to commissioning, from greying to final validation. They delivered a month ahead of schedule!
One month ahead of schedule... a priori impossible?
PL: It's unbelievable... They perfectly managed around a quarter of the overall budget for the operation as a general contractor. This was an incomparable comfort for us. The pharmaceutical industry is very demanding!
But what's their secret?
