VÊPRES did not meet the deadlines: they were… a month ahead of schedule!
A significant cleanroom project for a medical device production unit in a pharmaceutical plant.

How long have you known VÊPRES?
Pierre LAISSY : Our initial contact was in 2009. I had not selected them for a tender because their pricing was considered «too high». We ultimately decided to collaborate with them in 2012 on an ambitious project. While their rates had not significantly changed, the stakes were exceptionally high, and they were the only ones who truly instilled confidence.
Did the investment prove worthwhile?
PL : Indeed! This experience unequivocally demonstrated the quality standards of VÊPRES. They subsequently became regular service providers, consistently consulted (and selected) for all our projects.
Have you recently completed the construction of a new facility?
PL : Indeed, to meet market demand, we resolved to double our production capacity for our clients, who are major pharmaceutical groups. The challenge was substantial: to construct a 3,500 m2 plant within a maximum of 12 months! Typically, such a project requires three years.
Is this, then, a colossal project with… impossible deadlines?
PL : Nothing is impossible with determination and judicious decision-making. We coordinated the involvement of 105 external companies; at peak times, 45 companies and over 100 individuals were simultaneously present on site.
Naturally, with the VÊPRES teams?
PL : Absolutely! This was a substantial project for them, encompassing 950 m2 of cleanrooms and 500 m2 of line exit areas for packaging. They managed the entire infrastructure from floor to ceiling, including openings (airlocks, manual and automatic doors), air treatment systems, water distribution (chilled/hot), and electrical systems (high/low voltage). This extended from commissioning, through grey room setup, to final validation. They delivered the project one month ahead of schedule!!
A one-month lead on a seemingly impossible deadline?
PL : It's remarkable… They flawlessly managed approximately one-quarter of the overall project budget, operating as a general contractor. This provided unparalleled convenience for us. The pharmaceutical industry is exceptionally demanding!
But what is their secret?
