Grey room for the food industry: production of dietary supplements for top athletes.

Construction of a 280 m² production unit
NUTRIMUSCLE (FINOLI Group) manufactures dietary supplements for top-level athletes. To ensure product quality and working conditions (volatile and sticky compounds), manufacturing must take place in a controlled atmosphere. VÊPRES built the 280 m² "grey room" production unit, as part of an overall project to build a complete factory.
"On time, on budget, no surprises: what a pleasure!"
Alexandre BENAMRAN, Managing Director of NUTRIMUSCLE - Groupe FINOLI
Design and construction of a 280 m² production unit in a new factory manufacturing food supplements for top-level athletes.
4 months on site: deadlines met
Work on the grey room began in mid-May, and the production unit was delivered in mid-August, a week ahead of schedule. The construction of this room was part of a complete factory (offices, warehouses and production). The challenge, therefore, was to coordinate with all those involved on the site. This is the role of the VÊPRES project manager, who is in charge of monitoring the work with the technical team and interfacing with the customer.
The controlled atmosphere production unit is classified as a "grey room". It was built entirely by VÊPRES teams:
Services provided
- Partitioning and ceiling in sandwich panels cleanroom.
- Resin flooring with skirting boards on partitions.
- Compressed air network with waits available in the room.
- Room air treatment using a direct expansion air handling unit.
- Process extraction network with pressure management in all rooms.
VÊPRES would like to thank NUTRIMUSCLE and the FINOLI Group for their confidence in us and for the excellent conditions in which we worked on this site.
Meeting deadlines
NUTRIMUSCLE, a subsidiary of the FINOLI Group, produces food supplements for professional sportsmen and women under strict hygiene conditions. VÊPRES has built a 280 m² production unit, in compliance with quality and safety standards, as part of the construction of a complete plant. Construction began in May and was completed a week ahead of schedule in August.
