Well-being at work: VÊPRES certified by the Happy Index® at Work label
HR NewsWith a score of 4.06/5, VÊPRES has been awarded the benchmark certification for assessing well-being and motivation at work.
As part of an initiative to improve well-being in the workplace, ChooseMyCompany® was asked to assess the quality of the working environment for all VÊPRES employees, including trainees and apprentices.
Identify areas for improving well-being at work
To ensure that the results of the survey were truly relevant, it was important that employees could freely share their experiences and feelings. The solution was therefore to call in an external firm.
"Happy At Work" is the first participative employer label to assess a company's level of employee satisfaction and motivation, based solely on the employee opinions it collects. The largest European survey on motivation at work, it takes the form of an anonymous online questionnaire with 18 questions, divided into 6 themes:
- Professional development
- A stimulating environment
- Management
- Salary and recognition
- Pride
- Pleasure
To be valid, the participation rate must exceed 60%.
Satisfying and instructive results
Result: the 45 employees who responded to the survey gave an overall score of 4.06/5, exceeding the 3.81/5 required to be certified "Happy At Work".
The themes of trust and pride were particularly satisfying for VÊPRES, with 78% declaring that they were "proud of our products/services" and 71% having "confidence in the management team". In addition, 76% of employees surveyed responded positively to the question "I like coming to my workplace (offices/workshops, location, equipment, layout, atmosphere, etc.)", and 80% are satisfied with our company's benefits (bonuses, incentives, profit-sharing, mutual insurance, vacations, housing assistance, CSE, etc.).
This certification, which will be renewed every year, is both the result of a corporate culture based on family spirit, benevolence and solidarity, and the basis for in-depth analysis and action to improve these results.
Putting people at the heart of our HR approach
The crucial issue of recruitment leads us to explore every avenue to find new talent in line with the company's family values. For example, we work closely with local recruitment experts - temporary employment agencies or social structures - who enable us to discover and recruit the specific and diversified profiles that make VÊPRES so rich and solid. Particular attention is paid to the transmission of know-how and corporate culture. An integration program has been drawn up to ensure that new employees adapt well to their new roles, and to facilitate the handover to employees approaching retirement.
