Corporate life

VÊPRESa partner of Les Brûleurs de Loups for ten years, sponsored the December 2 match between Grenoble and the Nice Eagles. Employees enjoyed a lively match from the central box.

No fewer than sixty people, including employees of VÊPRES and their spouses and children, attended the December 2 Ligue Magnus match. The atmosphere was supercharged (as usual), and the scoreline (6-0) might suggest that Grenoblois were in the ascendancy... even though the match was hotly contested.

Éric Bernard-Brunel (General Manager) was in charge of the kick-off and the presentation of trophies to the best players. The VÊPRES teams had the chance to chat after the game with Kyle Hardy, the energetic defender of Les Brûleurs de Loups, who didn't forget to sign a few sticks along the way. They were also able to take home a few family photos of Louna and Jeff le Loup, the unmissable mascots!

This after-work event rounded off one of the two annual days devoted to a staff meeting. " We love sport and the values it conveys, and we love this city and this region. We gave employees the choice of ending the day with a rugby or field hockey match, and they opted for the Brûleurs de Loups..." explains Cédric Mercier, President of VÊPRES.

A climate of trust and sustainability

What's at stake in these moments when teams find themselves outside the company? " A climate of trust and continuity. They help build loyalty among our employees, customers, suppliers and partners. They all stand by us through the good times and the tougher times that every company goes through. These loyal relationships are very similar to those that underpin team sports.

The year was punctuated by other moments of sharing: after the plancha in July, a summer barbecue and a children's show in September, the VÊPRES teams gathered last week for the Christmas tree. And a date has been set for March 24, when the FCG will take on Oyonnax in a rugby match. " It's going to be a tough match, because Oyonnax's results are very impressive...". All the more reason for you to be there to give your all in the stands!
