Established for over 50 years in the Grenoble region, VÊPRES is committed to employment within its economic area. Youth employment, in particular, is central to its concerns, evidenced by a partnership with the Mission Locale Jeunes Sud Isère.

Apprenticeship contract: a first for the company!

It is within this dynamic that VÊPRES welcomes its first apprentice, Bryan, starting September 1st. His apprenticeship contract, facilitated by the IMT of Grenoble, will span two academic years until June 30, 2022.

Bryan discovered carpentry through his father's work and passion. He had the opportunity to complete an initial carpentry internship, which confirmed his career path for his training. Apprenticeship will enable him to understand the trade, receive explanations, learn from his mistakes, work safely, and gradually gain autonomy. He relies on the guidance and support of his internship supervisor.

Generational handover

To mentor Bryan, Patrick GUEYDAN will serve as his internship supervisor. Having joined VÊPRES in 2017 after an initial 6-month temporary assignment, he is nearing the end of his career and wishes to pass on his expertise and passion for carpentry. Patient and pedagogical, Patrick enjoys working with young people: « especially if they are motivated and eager to learn « .

Patrick and Bryan will therefore form a duo throughout the apprenticeship contract. Patrick's talent and organizational skills, along with his passion for carpentry, should enable Bryan to embark on his professional journey with a solid foundation.
