HR NewsAt VÊPRES, welcoming new staff is a priority. To ensure a smooth induction process, we have set up a new integration schedule. At the heart of this scheme is the key role played by a mentor, enabling each employee to quickly get to grips with his or her working environment.
Joining a company is never easy. Since mid-May, VÊPRES has therefore set up a new induction program, in which each new recruit benefits from the support of a mentor who is responsible for guiding him or her through the process of joining the company. The aim of this initiative is to make it easier for new recruits to find their feet at VÊPRES.
A structured system
The training program lasts a month, and is generally punctuated by three integration days a week. This rhythm varies according to the position, to best adapt to the specific needs of new team members. During this period, a meeting with each department is planned to discover the company's organization, the role of each, as well as some of the specific features of VÊPRES' business.
The key role of the sponsor
The sponsor plays a central role. Thanks to his availability, attentive listening and benevolence, he establishes a climate of trust. He or she organizes visits to the premises, facilitates initial discussions with the team and passes on the site's operating rules. On the technical side, he helps new recruits get to grips with tools and methods, answers questions and guides them according to their needs, while monitoring their progress towards autonomy.
Maintaining our fundamentals
Employee integration at VÊPRES is based on solid, unchanging fundamentals: HR welcome with handover of the handbook and key documents, QSE awareness-raising, an astonishment report to adjust support and regular check-ups during the trial period to ensure follow-up.
This approach is fully in line with VÊPRES ' desire to enhance the value of its teams, strengthen the commitment of each individual and constantly strive to ensure professional well-being within the company.
