New completion of an ISO 8 cleanroom spanning 550 m² with a "Free Cooling" air treatment system for Rovipharm.
ROVIPHARM – SGH Healthcaring Group – engaged VÊPRES for the construction of an ISO 8 certified cleanroom.
With a total area of 750 m², this new production facility comprises a workshop and two adjacent technical areas:
The substantial volume of the workshop – 10 meters high with a surface area of 550 m² – presented a significant technical challenge. To ensure their stability at such a height, the partitions were secured to a metal framework designed and installed by VÊPRES' teams. Subsequently, an overhead crane, 24 meters long and weighing 3.2 tons, was installed for material handling.
The two technical areas, situated on metal mezzanines and offering a generous total surface area of 200 m², were equipped with insulated EG and EC hydraulic manifolds featuring PVC cladding, and an HVAC cabinet with a control screen.

Air treatment: in "Free Cooling" mode
A critical aspect for cleanroom operations, air distribution is ensured by 6 circular textile ducts, and its treatment by two ROBATHERM AHUs operating in parallel, providing a flow rate of up to 64,000 m³/h. In addition to their thermal transmission and airtightness qualities, these two AHUs can switch to « Free Cooling » mode whenever external conditions allow. This ventilation technique enables energy savings and reduces operating costs.
A specialist in manufacturing dosing accessories for the pharmaceutical industry, ROVIPHARM had previously engaged VÊPRES for the refurbishment of a workshop spanning 1,650 m² and including a 750 m² cleanroom.
Addressing all challenges
A new 750 m² production facility comprises a workshop and two technical areas. Air distribution is achieved via six circular textile ducts, with air handling managed by two ROBATHERM AHUs. This expansion addresses the specific requirements of pharmaceutical production, emphasizing energy efficiency and the operational functionality of the installations.
