New realization of a cleanroom ISO 8 550 m² with "Free Cooling" air handling system for Rovipharm.
ROVIPHARM – SGH Healthcaring Group – called on VÊPRES for the construction of a cleanroom ISO 8 certified.
With a total surface area of 750 m², this new production space consists of a workshop and two technical areas nearby:
The large volume of the workshop – 10 metres under the ceiling on a surface area of 550 m² – represented a significant technical challenge. To allow them to remain at such a height, the partitions were fixed on a metal frame designed and installed by the VÊPRES. A 24 m long overhead crane weighing 3.2 tonnes was then set up to ensure handling.
The two technical areas, located on metal mezzanines and with a comfortable surface area of 200 m² in total, were equipped with EG and EC hydraulic panoplies insulated with PVC coating and an HVAC cabinet with control screen.

Air treatment: in "Free Cooling" mode
An essential issue for the work in cleanroom, air diffusion is ensured by 6 circular textile ducts and its treatment by two ROBATHERM AHUs operating in parallel, for a flow rate of up to 64,000 m³/h. In addition to their thermal transmission and airtightness qualities, these two AHUs are able to switch to "Free Cooling" mode as soon as external conditions allow. This ventilation technique saves energy and reduces the operating cost.
As a specialist in the manufacture of dosing accessories for the pharmaceutical industry, ROVIPHARM had already requested VÊPRES for the refurbishment of a 1,650 m² workshop with a cleanroom of 750 m².
