VÊPRES is a member of GETH.
HR NewsSince June, VÊPRES has been a member of GETH, an association dedicated to facilitating employment access for people with disabilities.
GETH (Employer Group for Disabled Workers) operates in Isère, Rhône, and several neighboring departments to change perceptions of disability. As a non-profit association, it actively facilitates access to employment for individuals with disabilities. To achieve this, it relies on a network of partners (Agefiph, Pôle Emploi, Cap Emploi, etc.) and offers its member companies employee profiles that match the required skills. « Having placed human values at the forefront of [its] priorities », it aims to increase « opportunities for integrating individuals with disabilities into mainstream employment ».
Diversity, motivation, and commitment
This membership followed a meeting between Marlène Cottet, HR Manager at VÊPRES, and GETH representatives at this year's H+ Talents Fair. 'Fortunately, having previously managed an Employer Group for Integration and Qualification – GEIQ – I was already thoroughly familiar with the system that facilitates the support and provision of personnel on fixed-term or permanent contracts.'
VÊPRES' commitment to fostering the integration of disabled personnel within the company serves two key objectives. Firstly, it ensures compliance with the legal requirement mandating a 6% employment rate for disabled individuals in companies with over 20 employees. Secondly, this initiative helps to more readily address the continuous recruitment demands driven by the company's expansion. « In our recruitment process, we operate without prejudice, prioritizing diversity, along with the motivation and dedication of our employees above all else »
