VÊPRES joins GETH

Since June, VÊPRES has been a member of GETH, an association dedicated to facilitating access to employment for the disabled.

VÊPRES joins GETH

GETH (Groupement d'Employés Travailleurs Handicapés) works in Isère, Rhône and neighbouring departments to change the way people look at disability. A not-for-profit association, it facilitates access to employment for people with disabilities. To achieve this, it relies on a network of partners(Agefiph, Pôle Emploi, Cap Emploi, etc.) and offers its member companies employee profiles matching the skills they are looking for. " Having placed the human factor at the top of [its] priorities ", it aims to multiply " the opportunities for integrating people with disabilities into the world of ordinary work ".

Diversity, motivation and involvement

The move came after Marlène Cottet, HR Manager at VÊPRES, met GETH representatives at this year's DesTalents H+ trade show. " Luckily, having previously managed a GEIQ (Groupement d'employeurs par l'insertion et la qualification), I was already very familiar with the scheme, which enables us to support and provide staff on fixed-term or permanent contracts ".

VÊPRES 's desire to promote the integration of disabled staff within the company meets two ambitions. Firstly, to meet the legal requirement for companies with more than 20 employees to employ 6% disabled people. On the other hand, this approach makes it easier to cope with the permanent recruitment required by the company's growth. "When it comes to recruitment, we have no prejudices; we give priority to diversity, as well as to employee motivation and involvement above all else ".
