The year 2020 proved exceptionally challenging for the population and numerous businesses. VÊPRES was relatively minimally impacted, largely due to our teams who ensured business continuity despite immense constraints related to health safety measures. More than ever, our clients valued 'the VÊPRES spirit,' our dedication and professionalism, without overlooking the 'good humor' that was so vital during those difficult times.

A strong performance for 2020: €11 million in revenue.

Throughout the year, turnover was only impacted in March and April, experiencing declines of 30% and 55% respectively. Our teams maintained a strong presence with our local clients (BD, CEA, ST, SOITEC…) to support them through the challenges posed by the health crisis. Several significant projects were delivered in France across various sectors (LUMIBIRD, ROVIPHARM), as well as internationally, including BENEQ in Finland, NUTRIMUSCLE in Belgium, and FCI Sud ZEISS Meditech in Mauritius.

VÊPRES has been actively recruiting across all company functions in recent months. Management has been strengthened with the arrival of a Sales Manager and an Administrative Manager. We have invested in our premises, for office refurbishment and to improve workshop working conditions with a new extraction system.

To cap off what has been a positive year for the company, our certifications ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 were confirmed at the end of November.

A fully booked order schedule for the first half of 2021

The new year presents very promising prospects. Our controlled growth strategy is yielding results, with an order book already well-filled for the first half of the year. The company is strengthening with new talent, and we are now in a nearly continuous recruitment process (consult our job postings).

This commitment extends to our teams and new hires. To uphold our values while ensuring growth, we are implementing new tools and seeking external support for employment and skills management (partner ITAQUE). Risk prevention, working conditions, and training (Prev’action) are pillars of our management approach. We are also committed to being an active participant in our local economy, particularly in recruitment, by collaborating with local youth missions. This year, we welcomed our first apprentice.
